{"id":7946,"date":"2024-01-25T21:32:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T20:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.versebyversebible.cz\/?p=7946"},"modified":"2025-11-09T06:08:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-09T05:08:27","slug":"matous-kapitola-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyversebible.hiseo.cz\/en\/matous\/matous-kapitola-25\/","title":{"rendered":"Mathew - Chapter 25"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1 \"Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>gr.: will bez compared&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>n.: flashlights;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>var.: + and the bride;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is a parable concerning the Kingdom of Heaven (Christ, God). We know that Christ's kingdom has been established since His coming and that it is possible to enter it. Christians are citizens of Christ's kingdom, living in it and serving in it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The mode of their citizenship and their ministry is as yet invisible - Christians live by faith, not by sight, for Christ is as yet hidden in heaven. Nevertheless, His coming is near, and at His second coming that which is as yet hidden will become visible. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of virgins \/ bridesmaids in an ancient Jewish wedding was important and various: they assisted the bride in dressing and accompanied her to the groom's house, lighting the way. Then they attended the wedding feast.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Here the task of the bridesmaids was to wait and be ready to light his way when the groom arrived. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Here the bridesmaids\/virgins <strong>are a picture of Christians waiting for Christ's return.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They are definitely among the invited, but they also have certain responsibilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>or: unreasonable;&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Among those who are invited to the wedding and serve the bridegroom (among Christians) not all are the same. Being included among the wedding guests is not everything - it does not automatically mean that one will also be included in the wedding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In order to actually get to the wedding, one must not behave foolishly or crazy - that is, one must use reason. Think about what the duties of the invitee include and prepare for it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of the bridesmaids was to light the bridegroom on his return - what is the role of Christians? To shine in this world. <strong>To bring the light of the good news of Christ into the darkness of night (the world lives in the darkness of the absence of God).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>That Jesus gives a one-to-one ratio of the foolish to the sane is appalling. I would have expected nine to one or eight to two. But half and half? Is there really going to be such a large percentage among Christians who don't get it? It's hard to say, but the warning should in any case be taken seriously - <strong>that some Christians will not be accepted at Christ's return is very real. It will not be something exceptional, but rather the rule. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus may have chosen the half-and-half ratio also to document that the wise will not be able to help the foolish. If only one was unreasonable, the other nine could have been able to supoort her without being left dry themselves. But five to five won't help.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is certainly safe to say that Christians who neglect their Christianity cannot expect the wiser ones to be able to help them at Christ's return. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christians help, encourage and support each other in their journey to God. Everyone experiences partial crises. <strong>It is clear from this parable, however, that one Christian will not take another to the Kingdom of Heaven on a \"two-wheeled chariot.\"<\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Everyone will ultimately be responsible for themselves. <\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3 For when the foolish&nbsp;<sup>[<\/sup>took<sup>]<\/sup>&nbsp;their lamps,&nbsp;<em>they<\/em>&nbsp;took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps.&nbsp;<em>.<\/em>&nbsp;.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They all assumed that the bridegroom would come during the night, but the foolish ones, for some reason, thought it would be early - that is, within the first few hours of the night. The foolish ones did not expect a long wait. Why?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It didn't occur to them. They didn't think about it. They lived under the misconception that \"the bridegrooms come\" first thing in the evening. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christians can also behave foolishly - they may feel that Jesus' return is imminent. They will not prepare themselves internally or factually for a long life on the planet, for a long wait.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We all live without the manifest presence of God. God is hidden, Jesus is in heaven. The Holy Spirit is present. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Oil <\/strong>tends to be an image of the Holy Spirit. Is that the case here? For the bridesmaids and for Christians, oil is a means of being able to shine in the darkness. We certainly need the Holy Spirit for that.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It can also be a symbol <strong>a steadfast commitment to living and serving others in an exemplary manner. <\/strong>The Christian must not give up Christianity in any weary and long lasting phase of life. <strong>He must not resign from his task of being a light - he must live holy and serve God and men with good works.<\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">His Christianity must be visible.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">To take oil is to prepare for the Christian life to be long and sometimes tedious. Learning to draw from God - having a relationship with the Holy Spirit, being able to draw from Scripture and prayer. To be accountable, not to neglect the church gatherings. <\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5 As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is an interesting remark - the foolish and the sensible dozed off and then fell asleep. And Jesus doesn't see the problem with that. If nothing happens for a long time, why not take a nap. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When the wait drags on, especially at night, sleep is irresistible. Apparently it can be inferred that <strong>The wait for Christ's return can seem long to all Christians - even the \"shining\" ones.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perhaps also that even a good Christian doesn't have to \"go 100%\" all the time. There may be times when a nap is in order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In several places in Scripture we are exhorted to (spiritual) vigilance, we are warned against sleep. This is of course true. But in this parable of Jesus, sleep is not the problem. The problem of the foolish girls, as we shall see, is elsewhere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Important general note: Jesus is speaking to His disciples just before His death (two days). He warns them against thinking that His return will be soon, e.g., within weeks, months, or low units of years. This expectation was apparently widespread among the disciples - <strong>It probably never occurred to anyone that they would have to live their entire lives without the physical presence of Jesus.  <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perhaps they remembered these words later, as the years and decades passed and everyone gradually died.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is much written in Scripture about the need to be ready for Christ's return. We may not know exactly when the return will occur, but we know that we will be able to recognize that it is coming. The signals of the imminent return are certainly stronger today than they were two thousand years ago. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Could it be said, then, that this parable is more relevant to contemporary Christians than it was to the Christians of the early church? No. The parable is still relevant to every Christian equally. How come? Because our encounter with Christ can take place in a second way (other than at His glorious return) - namely, at our death.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Although we are probably living in the end times, most (especially older  of us) Christians are much more likely to meet the Bridegroom at their death than at His glorious return.<\/mark><\/strong><sup data-fn=\"79bb3473-50c4-4bd2-92c9-3d414fe94cc4\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#79bb3473-50c4-4bd2-92c9-3d414fe94cc4\" id=\"79bb3473-50c4-4bd2-92c9-3d414fe94cc4-link\">1<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In short, Christians must keep their lamps burning throughout their lives. To be a Christian for ten, twenty, thirty or even fifty years requires perseverance - there are inevitably times of crisis when our Christian lives are \"dragging on\", when nothing special is happening and death is not coming.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">For decades the Czech Church has been living in a \"nocturnal\" decline - the congregations are small, miracles are rare, revival is not in sight. It is easy to fall asleep and let the lamps burn out. <\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6 But at midnight there was a cry, 'Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.'&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>However, the wait is not endless. The bridegroom will indeed arrive one day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whether the trumpets of the angels sound and Christ comes in glory on the Mount of Olives or whether God calls us to Himself (we die) - it will come one day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The glorious meeting we have been looking forward to and preparing for all our lives will be here.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7 Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>or: woke up;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waking up from sleep is not easy. One must first find out where one is and what one is doing there. It can be a kind of brief panic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The bridesmaids all slept together - sleep itself is not a problem. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The girls got their bearings, remembered what they were there for, and began to prepare for the climax of a long night. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Their job was to greet the groom with light - so they started checking their lamps. They all found that while they slept, the lamps had used up a significant amount of oil. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The bridesmaids could switch off their lamps during their sleep to save oil. They didn't, probably because they didn't anticipate such a long wait - they thought the groom would be here any minute. Maybe because they fell asleep suddenly - slumber overtook them. It wasn't that they had planned to go to sleep, but rather they waited and waited, and in the process sleep overcame them. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They might even have been worried that they wouldn't be able to light the lamps quickly - what did they have available? Maybe flints? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is also instructive for us: no Christian plans to go to \"Christian sleep\" in the sense of: I'm going to take a break from Christianity, live my own life for a while - and I'll get myself in order just before the Lord comes. <strong>Sleep comes imperceptibly, stealthily, unexpectedly and unwillingly at the time when the waiting is most drawn out. One is not even aware of one's situation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8 And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>My first thought was: I mean, other girls have enough oil, so they could share with us. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9 But the wise answered, saying, 'Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.'<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unfortunately, this is not how it works - <strong>the wise are unable to remedy the deficits of the foolish. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sensible bridesmaids did not have oil to spare, only \"just enough\" to prevent  themselves become  \"dry\".<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Christians who are zealous and Spirit-filled unfortunately do not have the ability to provide these things to those who do not seek them themselves.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wasn't that selfish of the wise bridesmaids? Certainly not - they were under no obligation to share their oil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And wasn't that \"unchristian\" of them? Shouldn't they have sacrificially given their oil to others and gone to the store to get new oil themselves? Jesus does not seem to have considered this option - there are obviously situations and areas where sacrifice and charity are not possible. It seems that in the area of salvation, \"it's every man for himself\". <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Something else might be indicated by the apostle Paul's statement in Rom. 9:3: \"For I wish that I myself were rejected, separated from Christ, instead of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh.\" Here Paul so loves his Jewish brethren that he says he would be willing to lay down his own salvation for them. The question is whether this is possible. It is probably more of a theoretical sigh, and giving up one's own salvation for someone else's is probably not possible (and Paul knew it).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The wise virgins (correctly) assessed that this was not the way to go - that sharing the oil would do no good, and the groom would end up with no one to shine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the one hand, the Holy Spirit is not limited and there is enough of Him for everyone. On the other hand, we read in Nu 11 that when the Lord gave the Spirit to the elders of Israel, He also took away from the Spirit that was on Moses. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We know that the Holy Spirit never imposes Himself - He comes to dwell only where He is invited. And if the foolish virgins did not seek His presence (did not care for it), He was simply not with them. <strong>The Holy Spirit is willing to come to anyone who is willing and willing. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Holy Spirit is God, a person of the Trinity - not a \"commodity\" to be traded or passed around at will in meaning: Hey brother, I'm full of the Spirit right now, so I'm going to give you some of it so you can have some too. <strong>He who does not seek the fullness of the Spirit does not have it.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10 And while they were going to buy,&nbsp;<em>to buy,<\/em>the bridegroom came,&nbsp;<em>and those<\/em>&nbsp;who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kde byly v tu dobu po\u0161etil\u00e9 dru\u017ei\u010dky? Postily se.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>That's all well and good, only this time it was too late. They should have done all this before.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By the time the Bridegroom arrives, it'll be too late to fix things. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let us not forget that we are still talking about Christians. The bridesmaids are Christians - they are invited to the wedding of the Lamb and they have a job to do. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The window of opportunity to enter Christ's kingdom is still open, just as the door of Noah's Ark was open for many decades of building. When it began to rain, God closed the door and the chance for salvation ended. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If we stay with the image of Noah's Ark, there are<strong> foolish bridesmaids a members of Noah's family who were occasionally involved in the construction but were not around at the critical moment of the onset of the flood. <\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, lord, open to us.'&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Why does God close the door to enter the feast? Why doesn't He leave it open for longer periods of time even for latecomers?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Because everyone wants to be in a wedding. But there's a price to pay to get in - and that price is: Being invited, godly living, and service.  <\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12 But he answered, 'Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.'<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The groom's response is harsh and highlighted:  Amen always underlines what is said.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When we realize that Jesus is saying \"I don't know you\" to Christians (foolish though they may be), a sense of dread comes over one. <strong>The bridesmaids knew the groom (otherwise they would not have been invited to the wedding) and were invited to the wedding. Their problem was that they didn't do what they were supposed to do before the wedding. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>var.:&nbsp;<em>[+ , in which the Son of Man will come]<\/em>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus gives an immediate interpretation to the story - it is a warning to every disciple of Christ: one must always be prepared for the Bridegroom's coming (or for one's own death - as we know, it comes out the same).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The fact that <strong>we know neither the day nor the hour.<\/strong> is profoundly true - when we leave home, we never know if we'll be back tonight. When we go to sleep, we never know if we will wake up in the morning. Our mortality hangs over us like the sword of Damocles<sup data-fn=\"905b3c51-2f59-40af-a307-6c239b38869f\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#905b3c51-2f59-40af-a307-6c239b38869f\" id=\"905b3c51-2f59-40af-a307-6c239b38869f-link\">2<\/a><\/sup>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Denn\u011b nap\u0159. v \u010cesku zem\u0159e p\u0159es t\u0159i sta lid\u00ed, z toho n\u011bkolik tragicky. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14 \u201e<em>\"For<\/em>&nbsp;<em>speech,<\/em>&nbsp;it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus continues to develop the theme of what Christians (His followers) are to do in the time until His return (His death).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The parable will again be about waiting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The main character this time is a rich and powerful man, the owner of slaves and considerable wealth. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The rich man or ruler is of course Jesus - He has everything on this earth: All the resources, but also many slaves (or servants).<sup data-fn=\"baa603bd-3fe9-4b73-bf46-54dc5177a7e9\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#baa603bd-3fe9-4b73-bf46-54dc5177a7e9\" id=\"baa603bd-3fe9-4b73-bf46-54dc5177a7e9-link\">3<\/a><\/sup> and all authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He is also not physically available since his ascension. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jesus makes it clear to the disciples that he is going to \"go away\" - that he will not be available for a while. He will not be available to handle matters on his own. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This person does not want to preserve things in any case - he does not only want his things to be stored somewhere safe. He has possessions and wants them to \"work\" in his absence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em> or: to those... to those&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>[the talent was worth the wages of more than 20 years of work as a laborer];&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>[the current use of the term talent for giftedness is derived from this parable];<\/em> The usage in our common understanding is very correct in this respect, quite in keeping with the meaning of the parable. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The differences in the money allocated are marked and uneven. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The remark <strong>to each according to his ability.<\/strong> shows that the owner thought his actions through carefully. He knew his servants well and treated them individually. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>He rated the differences in their abilities as significant,<\/strong> up to five times. This corresponds to reality - I know people who are extremely intelligent and at the same time athletically and musically gifted and also handsome. They have this cumulaton of talents <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Didn't the one who got two or one sin feel stupid? Didn't he feel envious? It's hard to say. It's better to be healthy and rich than poor and sick. When one sees someone who is better off, one can fight envy. But envy leads to nothing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every man can <strong>compare \"up and down\"<\/strong> - There are always people who are better off, but also those who are significantly worse off.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our world is routinely attuned to the reality of different endowments - each of us acts in this sense, whether as an employer (we assign people to jobs according to their abilities) or as an employee (I choose the job I can do that fits me). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moreover, even for the most gifted, God puts brakes on our lives, called \"Paul's spikes,\" whose job it is to keep us grounded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Summarized: <strong>When God distributed the talents, He did not make mistakes. Living in wickedness is devastating.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sv\u011b\u0159en\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1stky jsou zna\u010dn\u00e9. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Czech Republic in 2025, the minimum wage is CZK 20 800 per month and the average wage is CZK 49 233 per month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Czech Study Translation is noted that talent is the equivalent of 20 years' wages - if we were to base this on average wages, one talent would be worth about five million crowns in today's money. Even if it were minimum wage, we're still at something like two million. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And the servant with one talent was given the charge <strong>lower units of millions of crowns and the \"most talented\" millionaire was entrusted with perhaps as many as twenty-five.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>N\u011bkde jsem \u010detl, \u017ee \u0161lo o \u010d\u00e1stku, za kterou by se dnes dal po\u0159\u00eddit jeden a\u017e dva byty v Praze (2025)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It seems like an awful lot, but it is entirely consistent with the value of human life and human labour. Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b n\u011bkdo m\u016f\u017ee p\u0159ekvapit &#8211; ten se dv\u011bma z\u00edsk\u00e1 deset nebo naopak ten se dv\u011bma nez\u00edsk\u00e1 nic. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u010cetl jsem kdysi o velmi d\u00edvce<sup data-fn=\"91e144fb-fd01-448e-a169-d31eb6df4127\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#91e144fb-fd01-448e-a169-d31eb6df4127\" id=\"91e144fb-fd01-448e-a169-d31eb6df4127-link\">4<\/a><\/sup>, kter\u00e1 &#8222;mnoho rozumu nepobrala&#8220; &#8211; pracovala jako slu\u017eba v dom\u011b bohat\u00fdch komunist\u016f. Znala ale Boha a znala nazpam\u011b\u0165 jednu modlitbu. Tato prost\u00e1 d\u00edvka obr\u00e1tila k Bohu celou komunistickou rodinu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Naopak jsem poslouchal rozhovor s k\u0159es\u0165anem, kter\u00fd um\u011bl p\u011bt jazyk\u016f a byl v\u00fdborn\u00fdm matematikem. Kolik museli za tu dobu slu\u017eebn\u00edci za\u017e\u00edt kriz\u00ed, \u00fasp\u011bch\u016f a ne\u00fasp\u011bch\u016f, vrchol\u016f a hlubin &#8211; jak u\u017e to v \u017eivot\u011b b\u00fdv\u00e1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jist\u011b si otroci museli n\u011bkdy \u0159\u00edkat, \u017ee p\u00e1n u\u017e asi ani nep\u0159ijde. Museli b\u00fdt v poku\u0161en\u00ed se na v\u0161echno vyka\u0161lat &#8211; v\u017edy\u0165 pro\u010d by se m\u011bli d\u0159\u00edt kv\u016fli n\u011bkomu, kdo je tak dlouho nedostupn\u00fd? Kdo v\u00ed, jestli se v\u016fbec je\u0161t\u011b vr\u00e1t\u00ed. Kdo v\u00ed, jak to v\u0161echno bude. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>20 P\u0159istoupil ten, kter\u00fd dostal p\u011bt talent\u016f, p\u0159inesl jin\u00fdch p\u011bt talent\u016f a \u0159ekl: \u201aPane, p\u011bt talent\u016f jsi mi sv\u011b\u0159il; hle, jin\u00fdch p\u011bt talent\u016f jsem&nbsp;<em>jimi<\/em>&nbsp;z\u00edskal.\u2018<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8222;Hle&#8220; ukazuje, \u017ee otrok talenty p\u0159inesl. Nesv\u011b\u0159il otroku podstatnou \u010d\u00e1st sv\u00e9ho majetku, ale pouh\u00fd zlomek. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P\u00e1novy mo\u017enosti a pl\u00e1ny jsou mnohem mnohem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed. Doposud \u0161lo o miliony, nyn\u00ed p\u016fjde o miliardy. Doposud slu\u017eebn\u00edk m\u011bl malou ordinaci (pokud z\u016fstanu v mi zn\u00e1m\u00e9 oblasti), nyn\u00ed bude \u0159editelem fakultn\u00ed nemocnice nebo ministrem zdravotnictv\u00ed. M\u011bl malou firmu, nyn\u00ed povede korpor\u00e1t (nebo dokonce m\u011bsto nebo st\u00e1t).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vejdi v radost&nbsp;sv\u00e9ho p\u00e1na<\/strong> ukazuje, \u017ee p\u00e1n nyn\u00ed chyst\u00e1 oslavu. Bez sp\u00e1nku a v extr\u00e9mn\u00edm stresu pro\u017eije n\u011bkolik dn\u00ed, kdy na konvoj \u00fato\u010d\u00ed n\u011bmeck\u00e9 ponorky. Z\u0159ejm\u011b v tom nen\u00ed n\u011bjak\u00e9 zvl\u00e1\u0161tn\u00ed sd\u011blen\u00ed &#8211; velk\u00e9, st\u0159edn\u00ed i mal\u00e9 obdarov\u00e1n\u00ed m\u00e1 sv\u00e1 rizika. Nejobdarovan\u011bj\u0161\u00ed zase m\u016f\u017ee na mno\u017estv\u00ed sv\u00fdch talent\u016f spol\u00e9hat a dostate\u010dn\u011b se nesna\u017eit; st\u0159edn\u011b obdarovan\u00e9mu hroz\u00ed rizika z obou stran.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sna\u017eit se mus\u00ed v\u0161ichni. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mo\u017en\u00e1 by v tom mohlo b\u00fdt sd\u011blen\u00ed: I kdy\u017e ti toho nebylo sv\u011b\u0159eno mnoho, <strong>na snahu nesm\u00ed\u0161 nikdy  rezignovat. <\/strong> <strong>Mal\u00e1 obdarov\u00e1n\u00ed neomlouvaj\u00ed.<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P\u00e1n nebude m\u00edt v tomto sm\u011bru soucit (Tys toho., chud\u00e1\u010dku, ode m\u011b moc nepobral, tak \u0161koda nen\u00ed tak velk\u00e1. B\u016fh v ur\u010dit\u00fdch sm\u011brech tvrd\u00fdm je &#8211; v tom smyslu, \u017ee lidi v p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b pot\u0159eby opravdu trest\u00e1. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed lid\u00e9 tento Bo\u017e\u00ed charakterov\u00fd rys pom\u00edjej\u00ed &#8211; pova\u017euj\u00ed Hospodina za toho, kdo se vlastn\u011b ani nedok\u00e1\u017ee zlobit, kdo nakonec nad v\u0161\u00edm m\u00e1vne rukou, kdo v\u0161e odpust\u00ed, uhlad\u00ed a zamete pod koberec. To je ale naprost\u00e9 nepochopen\u00ed. <strong>B\u016fh opravdu je v mnoh\u00fdch sm\u011brech &#8222;drs\u0148\u00e1k&#8220; &#8211; v\u017edy\u0165 hrozn\u00e9 smrti neu\u0161et\u0159il ani sv\u00e9ho vlastn\u00edho Syna. <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tak\u017ee tento p\u00e1n\u016fv rys slu\u017eebn\u00edk rozpoznal spr\u00e1vn\u011b. Vyvodil z n\u011bho ale chybn\u00e9 d\u016fsledky: Nepochopil, \u017ee p\u00e1novi a\u017e tak nejde o ty pen\u00edze. Talenty slu\u017eebn\u00edk\u016fm nesv\u011b\u0159oval proto, \u017ee by pot\u0159eboval jejich zisky, ale proto, aby jim dal mo\u017enost se zapojit a osv\u011bd\u010dit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"><strong>Slu\u017eebn\u00edk v\u016fbec nepochopil, \u017ee p\u00e1novi ne\u0161lo o to, aby se zase setkal se sv\u00fdmi pen\u011bzi, ale o to, aby slu\u017eebn\u00edkovi dal mo\u017enost vyvinout snahu. <\/strong> <\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slu\u017eebn\u00edk d\u00e1le konstatuje, \u017ee jeho p\u00e1n <strong>skl\u00edz\u00ed, kde nezasel, a shroma\u017e\u010fuje, kde nerozsypal.<\/strong> Jde tak\u00e9 o (p\u0159inejmen\u0161\u00edm skrytou) v\u00fd\u010ditku. Co slu\u017eebn\u00edk rozpoznal? <strong>\u017de p\u00e1n pro sebe o\u010dek\u00e1v\u00e1 zisky z pr\u00e1ce druh\u00fdch<\/strong>. Byla to pravda &#8211; talent mu sice sv\u011b\u0159il, ale jeho pr\u00e1ci a snahu opravdu o\u010dek\u00e1val.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>B\u016fh takov\u00fd je &#8211; On je st\u0159edem v\u0161eho <strong>a v\u00fdsledky ve\u0161ker\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce a n\u00e1mahy Jeho slu\u017eebn\u00edk\u016f sm\u011b\u0159uje k zisk\u016fm pro Jeho kr\u00e1lovstv\u00ed.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slu\u017eebn\u00edk opravdu v\u011bc vyhodnotil spr\u00e1vn\u011b, ale vyvodil z n\u00ed \u0161patn\u00e9 z\u00e1v\u011bry. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>25 Dostal&nbsp;jsem&nbsp;strach,&nbsp;ode\u0161el jsem a ukryl tv\u016fj talent v zemi. Hle,&nbsp;<em>zde<\/em>&nbsp;m\u00e1\u0161,&nbsp;co&nbsp;je&nbsp;tvoje.\u2018&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Otrok mluv\u00ed zcela up\u0159\u00edmn\u011b. Dalo by se \u0159\u00edci, \u017ee p\u00e1nu vyzn\u00e1v\u00e1 sv\u00e9 pocit, sv\u00e9 strachy, \u017ee vyl\u00e9v\u00e1 sv\u00e9 srdce. Ano, b\u00e1l jsem se t\u011b. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jak uvid\u00edme, ani naprost\u00e1 up\u0159\u00edmnost jej od p\u00e1nova hn\u011bvu neuchr\u00e1n\u00ed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nav\u00edc je pozoruhodn\u00e9, \u017ee otrokovi ani na mysl nep\u0159i\u0161lo, \u017ee by p\u00e1n\u016fv talent ukradl nebo si n\u011bjak\u00fdm zp\u016fsobem p\u0159ivlastnil. Takto v\u016fbec neuva\u017eoval &#8211; mo\u017en\u00e1 proto, \u017ee v\u011bd\u011bl, \u017ee to by mu nepro\u0161lo, ale mo\u017en\u00e1 zkr\u00e1tka proto, \u017ee byl poctiv\u00fd. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ani to jej ale neuchr\u00e1nilo p\u00e1nova hn\u011bvu. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>26 Jeho p\u00e1n mu odpov\u011bd\u011bl: \u201aZl\u00fd&nbsp;a leniv\u00fd&nbsp;otroku, v\u011bd\u011bl jsi, \u017ee skl\u00edz\u00edm, kde jsem nezasel, a shroma\u017e\u010fuji, kde jsem nerozsypal?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>P\u00e1nova reakce je po v\u0161ech str\u00e1nk\u00e1ch tvrd\u00e1: Hne z po\u010d\u00e1tku otroka naz\u00fdv\u00e1<strong> zl\u00fdm a leniv\u00fdm.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ned\u00e1v\u00e1 \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd prostor pro hled\u00e1n\u00ed jin\u00fdch, n\u011bjak omluvn\u00fdch motiv\u016f, nap\u0159. Co toti\u017e otrok po celou dobu p\u00e1novy nep\u0159\u00edtomnosti d\u011blal? Nic. V\u016fbec nic. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Druh\u00fdm motivem bylo, \u017ee slu\u017eebn\u00edk byl <strong>zl\u00fd<\/strong>. Jak to? Kdo je vlastn\u011b zl\u00fd? Ten, kdo d\u011bl\u00e1 zl\u00e9 v\u011bci? V Bo\u017e\u00edm pojet\u00ed je zl\u00fdm sp\u00ed\u0161e ten, kdo nem\u00e1 r\u00e1d Boha a nem\u00e1 s N\u00edm nav\u00e1zan\u00fd vztah. Otrok byl zl\u00fdm v tom  smyslu, \u017ee sv\u00e9ho p\u00e1na nem\u011bl r\u00e1d, nem\u011bl s n\u00edm vztah, necht\u011bl mu slou\u017eit. Nep\u0159em\u00fd\u0161lel nad svou \u00falohou v p\u00e1nov\u011b pl\u00e1nech. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Snad si m\u016f\u017eeme pomoci obrazem z pracovn\u00edho i rodinn\u00e9ho \u017eivota. M\u00edt zam\u011bstnance, kter\u00fd majitele nem\u00e1 r\u00e1d, v\u0161e d\u011bl\u00e1 pouze neochotn\u011b a se sk\u0159\u00edpen\u00edm zub\u016f, nen\u00ed v\u016fbec iniciativn\u00ed, kam ho postav\u00ed\u0161, tam ho najde\u0161 &#8211; to nen\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e1 v\u00fdhra. Takov\u00fd zam\u011bstnanec je \u0161patn\u00fd, mo\u017en\u00e1 a\u017e zl\u00fd zam\u011bstnanec. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Podobn\u011b ve v\u00fdchov\u011b d\u011bt\u00ed &#8211; v\u0161echny d\u011bti zlob\u00ed a maj\u00ed sv\u00e9 probl\u00e9my. V\u00fdsledky od sv\u00fdch slu\u017eebn\u00edk\u016f o\u010dek\u00e1v\u00e1m. Oni nep\u0159ijdou zkr\u00e1tka, ale v\u00fdsledky si p\u0159ipisuji j\u00e1 na konto sv\u00e9ho projektu (Bo\u017e\u00edho kr\u00e1lovstv\u00ed).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>P\u00e1n apeluje na rozpor mezi otrokov\u00fdm pozn\u00e1n\u00edm a jedn\u00e1n\u00edm &#8211; kdy\u017e v\u011bd\u011bl, \u017ee p\u00e1n je takov\u00fd, pro\u010d se podle toho nechoval? Necht\u011blo se mu a z\u0159ejm\u011b v\u011b\u0159il, \u017ee mu to n\u011bjak projde.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jak uvid\u00edme d\u00e1le, nepro\u0161lo mu to v\u016fbec. Za\u010d\u00e1tek byl v\u017edy o p\u016flnoci, dv\u011b hodiny se tr\u00e9novalo taekwondo, tento tr\u00e9ninkov\u00fd blok jsem vedl j\u00e1, pak n\u00e1sledovalo haedongkumdo, kter\u00e9 vedl p\u0159\u00edtel mistra Choi, mistr Kim Seong Rok, kter\u00fd je tak\u00e9 m\u00fdm velk\u00fdm vzorem, pak n\u00e1sledovaly dva dvouhodinov\u00e9 bloky, kter\u00e9 vedl mistr Choi zam\u011b\u0159en\u00e9 na bongsool a hapkido. \nNo\u010dn\u00ed tr\u00e9ninky byly neskute\u010dn\u011b n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e9, n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed \u017e\u00e1ci mistra Chodi nebyli schopni kv\u016fli \u00fanav\u011b a bolestem t\u011bla natolik piln\u011b cvi\u010dit, aby dosahovali po\u017eadovan\u00e9ho pokroku. ,\u2026..tr\u00e9ninky byly tak intenzivn\u00ed, \u017ee jsem mnohokr\u00e1t nemohl v&nbsp;aut\u011b to\u010dit volantem ani \u0161lapat na brzdu a plyn, jak m\u011b neposlouchaly svaly na t\u011ble. Tr\u00e9ninky v&nbsp;zimn\u00edch obdob\u00edch byly opravdu zaj\u00edmav\u00e9. V&nbsp;noci se cvi\u010dilo jen v&nbsp;cvi\u010debn\u00edch kalhot\u00e1ch v&nbsp;minusov\u00fdch teplot\u00e1ch. N\u011bkolikr\u00e1t n\u00e1s mistr Sim poslal tr\u00e9novat techniky do mraziv\u00e9ho mo\u0159e. Byla to opravdu nep\u0159ekonateln\u00e1 zkou\u0161ka sebeovl\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed.\n<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pro\u010d to uv\u00e1d\u00edm? V demokracii do ur\u010dit\u00e9 (ne moc velk\u00e9) m\u00edry ano, ale demokracie po v\u011bt\u0161inu d\u011bjin ve v\u011bt\u0161in\u011b n\u00e1rod\u016f neexistovala. Jak potom mohou b\u00fdt souzeni za sv\u00e9 postoje?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Faktem, se kter\u00fdm se je t\u0159eba sm\u00ed\u0159it,  je, \u017ee B\u016fh kolektivn\u00ed soudy pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 \u010dasto. Jako v mnoha jin\u00fdch soudech, i zde B\u016fh pracuje v &#8222;du\u00e1ln\u00edm m\u00f3du&#8220; &#8211; <strong>osud n\u00e1rod\u016f tedy bude dvoj\u00ed<\/strong>: Dobr\u00fd nebo \u0161patn\u00fd, skon\u010d\u00ed na Kristov\u011b pravici nebo levici. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>S m\u011b\u0159\u00edtkem bude postoj n\u00e1roda k n\u011bkter\u00fdm ot\u00e1zk\u00e1m nebo skupin\u00e1m. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M\u016f\u017ee j\u00edt o postoj k Izraeli, ale mo\u017en\u00e1 tak\u00e9 o postoj k n\u011bkter\u00fdm pot\u0159ebn\u00fdm bezbrann\u00fdm skupin\u00e1m, nap\u0159. k nenarozen\u00fdm d\u011btem (V tom p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b se tyto mno\u017einy neprot\u00ednaj\u00ed &#8211; muslimov\u00e9 Izrael nen\u00e1vid\u00ed, ale potraty neprov\u00e1d\u011bj\u00ed. V\u017edy\u0165 i h\u0159\u00ed\u0161n\u00edci miluj\u00ed ty, kte\u0159\u00ed je miluj\u00ed. A jestli\u017ee \u010din\u00edte dob\u0159e t\u011bm, kte\u0159\u00ed v\u00e1m \u010din\u00ed dob\u0159e, jak\u00e1 v\u00e1m n\u00e1le\u017e\u00ed z\u00e1sluha? I h\u0159\u00ed\u0161n\u00edci to d\u011blaj\u00ed.&#8220;<\/strong> Odpov\u011b\u010f zn\u00ed: Odm\u011bna za toto nen\u00ed \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e1, proto\u017ee je to p\u0159irozen\u00e9, nejde o nic n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e9ho. B\u016fh rozhodn\u011b nebude tolerovat zlo a radik\u00e1ln\u011b se s n\u00edm vypo\u0159\u00e1d\u00e1. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trest pro \u010f\u00e1bla a d\u00e9mony je nejhor\u0161\u00ed mo\u017en\u00fd a trval\u00fd &#8211; jejich vzpoura byla definitivn\u00ed, bez mo\u017enosti n\u00e1pravy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nedost\u00e1v\u00e1 se jim mo\u017enosti pok\u00e1n\u00ed. P\u0159\u00ed\u010dinou je pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b to, \u017ee jejich pozn\u00e1n\u00ed Boha bylo p\u0159\u00edm\u00e9 a \u00fapln\u00e9.
