{"id":1201,"date":"2023-10-13T10:32:05","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T08:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.versebyversebible.cz\/?p=1201"},"modified":"2023-12-16T22:01:15","modified_gmt":"2023-12-16T21:01:15","slug":"svet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/versebyversebible.hiseo.cz\/en\/biblical_studies\/svet\/","title":{"rendered":"World"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 4:8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>nd their glory. 9 And he said to him, \u201cAll these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lk 4:5 And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it is therefore quite certain that the kingdoms of the world and their glory belong to the devil, and that he freely disposes of them. He offers them to whom he will, and to the extent that he will.<sup data-fn=\"83953001-be56-41d3-aab0-0555763d3f60\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#83953001-be56-41d3-aab0-0555763d3f60\" id=\"83953001-be56-41d3-aab0-0555763d3f60-link\">1<\/a><\/sup>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>when we are successful, it is advisable to be cautious<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 5:14 \"You are the ligh <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Christians do not belong in the world, their home is no longer here, but they have a role, or rather a series of roles <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>one of them is to be a light, a lighthouse for the people of the world<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 13:38 38The field is <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In this parable, the world is the setting into which the Word of God is brought. People who become Christians are the good seed, those who remain in the world and thus serve the Evil One are the weeds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 16:26 For what does it profit a man if he gets the whole <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>but will he harm his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>nothing that is available in this world, not even the world itself, has lasting value; it is not worth losing eternal life for <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Matthew 18:7 Woe <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">to the world <\/mark>for the seduction! The seductions must come, but woe to the man through whom the seduction comes! <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world is characterized, among other things, by the fact that it is for believers <strong>by<\/strong><sup data-fn=\"4f8d8fd1-72a4-4a4d-a407-975c36ecd1c4\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#4f8d8fd1-72a4-4a4d-a407-975c36ecd1c4\" id=\"4f8d8fd1-72a4-4a4d-a407-975c36ecd1c4-link\">2<\/a><\/sup>that is to say, it has the power to entice the Christian to return to the world, in other words, to cease walking in the Spirit and begin again to walk in the flesh. From this point of view, the church is \"under pressure\" in the world, Christians must \"defend and protect\" themselves from the world. Unlike the holiness of God, which is offensive, the holiness of Christians is more defensive<sup data-fn=\"0c1b7a11-a259-4402-8c5f-4d9d408f4d20\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#0c1b7a11-a259-4402-8c5f-4d9d408f4d20\" id=\"0c1b7a11-a259-4402-8c5f-4d9d408f4d20-link\">3<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>notwithstanding these general considerations<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\"> But the main thing is that we should be careful ourselves - being the one who seduces other Christians is extremely risky. Coming under God's \"woe\" is something to be avoided at all costs.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 24:14 This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world <\/mark>as a witness to all nations. And then the end will come.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it is necessary to get the word out to the world about the coming kingdom of God. All people are to know about it. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark> until now, and never will again. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The world has experienced various seasons since creation, tribulations are a normal part of it. Towards the end of history, the tribulation will be particularly severe, unprecedented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mt 25:34 Then the King will say to those on his right hand, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, receive into your inheritance the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God's plan is not an improvisation, it has been in place from the beginning of creation, including a dwelling place for believers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mk 16:15 And he said to them, \"Go into all <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>and proclaim the gospel to all creation. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Christianity is a missionary religion. Our mission is to inform the world of the good news of Jesus Christ<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Luke 11:50 that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, might be required from this generation <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world has been from the beginning, or rather from the fall, a hostile place towards God and the people who serve Him <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lk 12:30 All these things are eagerly sought by the nations of this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>. Your Father knows you need it.<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>this (procuring the means of life) is what they are dedicated to, it is a priority for non-believers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lk 21:26 People will faint with fear and anticipation of what is coming upon all <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>as the coming of Jesus draws near, the situation in the world will become more and more dire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said: \"Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away sin. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world is sinful. God didn't leave the world in this and sent a solution, he sent the Lamb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 3:16 \"For God so loves <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>probably the most famous verse in the Bible. Though the world lies in evil, God loves it. Even to the point of sending his Son<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>condemned, but to be <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>saved through him. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The condemnation of the world is entirely appropriate and will happen one day. But that was not Jesus' mission - it was to save the world <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 3:19 This is the judgment, that the light is come upon <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>but men loved the darkness more than the light, because their deeds were evil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>People don't like Jesus' mission - it makes them uncomfortable, convicts them and they don't want to change anything<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 1:9 There was a true light that enlightens every man, that came upon <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>. :10 On <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world <\/mark>was, <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>through him, and <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>he didn't know him.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it talks about the relationship between Jesus and the world. Jesus initiated creation and was present at creation. Yet after his coming he was not recognized - the world degenerated after the fall and was unable to recognize its creator. Jesus came to bring light back into this darkness of the world after the fall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 4:42 And they said to the woman, \"Now we believe, not because of what you said, but because we have heard it ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Savior <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>, Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus is the true savior of the world. Without Him, the world would be lost and without hope.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 6:14 When the people saw the sign that Jesus did, they said, \"This is indeed the Prophet who is to come to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>.\" <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>people were expecting a great prophet, expecting something significant to happen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 6:33 For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life. <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">to the world<\/mark>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live for eternity. And the bread that I will give for life <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>is my body.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus came down from heaven to give life to the world. Whoever is spiritually hungry will be fed and saved<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 7:7 You cannot <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>But he hates me, because I testify of him that his deeds are evil. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>only in the presence of good does evil emerge in clear contours. Jesus, by his life, convicted the world of sin - and that is worthy of hatred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 8:12 Jesus spoke to them again, saying, \"I am the light <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>. He who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.\" <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world is in darkness, Jesus brought light<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 8:23 And he said to them, \"You are from below, I am from above. You are from this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>I'm not from this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus was in some ways an \"alien.\" He lived in the world, but he didn't fall into it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true, and I speak in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world <\/mark>what I heard from him.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the information that Jesus brought into this world comes from God. He does not bring us his opinions, but God's<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong> Jn 9:39 And Jesus said: \"I have come to this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>to judgment, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus did not come at His first coming to condemn the world for what it is, but to save it. But his very presence unmasked the presence of sin in the world, revealing <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 10:36 why me, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>you say, 'You blaspheme,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>why do you consider the truth to be blasphemy? I really came from God, I really am the Son of God - so there is no blasphemy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 11:9 Jesus answered, \"Does not the day have twelve hours? He who walks in the day does not stumble, because he sees the light of this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>meaning our natural light of the sun<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 11:27 She said to him, \"Yes, Lord, I have believed that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it was said beforehand that God's anointed Savior would come into the world. The woman believed it was Jesus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 12:19 The Pharisees said to themselves, \"You see that you can do nothing. Behold, the whole <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>he's coming after him!\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>meaning all the people around<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 12:25 He that loveth his soul destroyeth it: he that hateth his soul in this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world<\/mark>will preserve her to eternal life. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in this life here you need to not cling to your life. If necessary, it must be given up in favour of eternal life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 12:31 Now the judgment is upon this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world<\/mark>, will now be the ruler of this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>thrown out.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world doesn't get away with his \"behavior\", he will be called to account. The wickedness of the world was publicly exposed by the death of Christ; by His death, Jesus exposed and condemned the wickedness of the world. And in doing so, he also defeated the devil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 13:1 Before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come to depart from this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>went to the Father because he loved his own who were in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world<\/mark>, loved them to the end. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus' mission was coming to an end. He was about to return home. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During his stay, he fell in love with the people and did his best to save them. He established relationships with them that were to endure <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 14:17 The Spirit of truth, which <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>he can't accept it because he doesn't see it or know it. You know him, for he abides with you and will be in you. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Holy Spirit is something totally incomprehensible and alien to this world. For Christians, it is a living experience because the Holy Spirit \"lives\" in Christians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as he giveth <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>I'm giving you. Let not your heart tremble and be not afraid. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>peace in the heart is what the world really can't give. His fate is already decided. No longer will anyone trouble people's consciences, no longer will anyone \"shine a flashlight on a thief.\" Everything will work again as before in the peaceful coexistence of the devil and men. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for those who believed in Jesus, his death was, on the contrary, a complete disappointment, a catastrophe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>but all in good time - Jesus did not stay in the tomb. His resurrection reversed the \"game\"<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 16:28 I went out from the Father and came to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>; again I am leaving the world and going to the Father.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jesus' mission on the planet was time-limited<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Jn 16:33 These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world <\/mark>you have tribulation. But be of good cheer, I have overcome <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world,<\/mark>.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in the world, perfect peace is impossible, in Jesus it is possible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the world is not much of a place, tribulation is unavoidable here. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they kept your word. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in the world, God \"chose\" people who then responded to Jesus' message and believed. That's how it all began - with Adam and Eve in paradise. It's a bit mysterious, but it's undeniable. There is no better explanation for our situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rom 5:13 Until the law sin was in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">world<\/mark>but it doesn't count when there is no Law. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 1:20 Where is the wise? Has not God made the wisdom of this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>insanity? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>in the world, compared to the kingdom of God, the criteria of wisdom are set quite differently <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 1:21 For when <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world, <\/mark>in the wisdom of God, not knowing God through his wisdom, it pleased God through the foolishness of this message to save those who believe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When the world failed utterly in recognizing the true wisdom of God, God chose a paradoxical, worldly foolish way to save people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 1:27 But what is in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>foolish, God has chosen to shame the wise, and what is in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>the weak, God hath chosen to confound the strong;28 and what is in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>the unborn and the inferior, God chose that, chose even what is not, to abolish what is, <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it is the paradoxical approach that God took after conventional approaches had failed. By conventional practices, I mean: people reflect on the world, conclude that God created it, and \"behave\" accordingly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 2:12 And we have not received the spirit <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>but the Spirit which is of God, that we may know what God has given us. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world has a spirit. What kind of spirit? Obviously there is no worldly equivalent of the Holy Spirit, so it must be a kind of figurative expression - a way of thinking according to how the people of the world and also the devil (because he is the ruler of this world) look at it <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 3:19 For the wisdom of this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\" <\/mark>is foolishness before God. For it is written, 'He taketh the wise in their wisdom.' <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Here wisdom and foolishness are used in \"reverse\" from the first chapter of Corinthians. The world did not accept God's wisdom, so God chose to act in a different paradoxical way regarding salvation. Here, on the other hand, God looks at the world and what He considers wisdom - and He sees it very negatively as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I would venture to say that the wisdom of this world is often \"gobbledygook\"-I am reminded of this sometimes when I read some philosophical treatises full of foreign words or the would-be profound musings of some theologians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 4:9 It seems to me that God has set us apostles as the last, as those who are condemned to death, because we have become a spectacle <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">to the world<\/mark>...angels and men. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>what we as Christians (the apostles as the first and very significant generation in particular) \"perform\" here on earth is widely observed. By the spirit world, i.e. angels, to be sure, by humans to be sure. But what is meant here by the world? What else is left outside the spirit world and the people? Obviously the world in the sense of all fallen creation, all living creatures. Creation is fallen, given over to death, to extinction, under the dominion of the devil. No wonder he's looking for something better. <strong>Their future depends on how Christians manage their role <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The theatre is also a place designed to entertain, to experience tension. For those who are not directly involved (who is?), watching the lives of Christians must be quite a cultural experience. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor 4:13 when we are reviled, we rebuke. We have become like the trash of this <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.\"<\/mark>...pariahs for everyone until now.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the rubbish of the world, outcasts - Paul speaks of himself as one of the apostles. So the apostles are very, very unacknowledged, even despised, in the world. For they are neither durable nor lasting. Yes, we do deal with this world as we must, and often we cannot do otherwise. The unmarried woman and virgin cares for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy in body and spirit. But when she marries, she cares for the things <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">mundane<\/mark>how she would please her husband.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it is difficult for married people to enjoy the things of this world \"as if they did not\"... It is not just that the wife may not have an understanding of spiritual things. Even if the wife is a Christian and has an understanding of spiritual things, it is still true that a man with a family has more to worry about and more things to take care of. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and the fact that <strong>a man trying to please a woman<\/strong>is also beyond doubt. Although Christians want to please God above all, the motivation to win the approval and admiration of women remains strong<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>this also applies reciprocally to <strong>married women<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1 Cor. 11:32 But when we are judged of the Lord, we are taught that we should not be condemned with <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">the world<\/mark>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the world will not end well. The Jews have \"at least something,\" the Abrahamic covenants apply to them historically. But we Gentiles, we had nothing, nothing at all.
